About

We are delighted your child is interested in playing netball. Netball is a fantastic sport for both boys and girls. It's good for overall fitness, team building, strength and balance, endurance, resilience and so much more!

At Newborough we run the nationally accredited netball program, NetSetGo (NSG) for children in years Pre-Primary to Year 5. NSG is divided into three categories:

NET - Pre-Primary & Year 1 - this is a skills only program with no competition

SET - Year 2 & 3 - training for skills development & competition against other schools / clubs

GO - Year 4 & 5 - training for skills development & competition against other schools / clubs

helping out

The Newborough Netball Club is a solely volunteer run Club which relies on parents, grandparents and friends for support.

For this year's program to go ahead, a group of parent volunteers are required to run the sessions. This year we have returning Coaches Cristin and Kerri (Year 1 parents).

The Club has plenty of resources, including sessions plans and equipment. Year Six experienced netballers are also allocated as an additional resource.

If you are able to assist Cristin and Kerri with the training sessions, (it would be great to get at least one PP parent involved), please indicate your willingness to assist the team when registering your child on Play-HQ, or pop me an email, newboroughnetball@gmail.com

We need a minimum of 8 players to sign-up for the NET program to run.
